A detailed 3D laser/point cloud survey was conducted for the building group of a Methodist Church to provide comprehensive as-built 3D survey data for integration into Vectorworks BIM software.
The scope of work included capturing 3D data for both internal and external areas of the entire development site area, which was previously available only in 2D format. The survey was based on reference documents, including a topographical survey and the 3D pointcloud.
Surveyed buildings included the Grade II listed church, the Grade II listed church hall (Century Hall), Cornerstone Café, Caretaker’s Cottage and Shop.
The final as-built 3D model provided an accurate and data-rich representation of the site, enhancing design coordination and future project planning.
