Comprehensive Laser Survey & 3D Modelling of Industrial Production Plant

We were commissioned to carry out a full laser survey and 3D modelling of a large industrial production plant as part of an ongoing maintenance and upgrade programme. The project aimed to support environmental standard improvements and efficiency upgrades for critical equipment.

Over time, industrial facilities expand and evolve, often rendering existing documentation outdated. To address this, we provided a highly accurate, up-to-date facility model to assist with clash detection, coordinated route planning for pipework, ductwork, and electrical trunking, ensuring seamless integration of new infrastructure.

Leveraging our extensive experience in industrial surveys, we developed a comprehensive plan, working closely with the client to maintain an accurate, evolving digital representation of the site. Deliverables included both Pointcloud data and a precise 3D model, equipping the client with the tools needed for efficient planning and future-proofing the facility.
